I am so in love with this skirt from Society+. The cut would be gorgeous on a variety of different body types. The length is perfect. It hits about mid-calf on me and I’m about 5’7″. I love that the pleats give the skirt a little bit of volume without it being too overwhelming.
The quality is tremendous. There is a side zipper and pockets! The skirt comes in a variety of different colors, so you can pick the one that best fits your style.
I paired the skirt with a black bodysuit from JCPenney and black pointed toe flats from Lane Bryant. I love that this look has a slightly vintage feel with a modern flair of the criss cross bodysuit. It’s appropriate for the office but you could also dress it down with a chambray shirt or a crop top. This is definitely a versatile piece that would be a great addition to anyone’s closet.

A huge thank you to Society+ for sending me this piece to review on my blog for you guys!
Hey everyone! This post isn’t really fashion related. I just wanted to say how much fun it is to make your own costumes. My husband and I have been making our own costumes for the last six years. Even if we have to buy a mask or wig, we try to make the rest of the costume. You can easily make costumes on the cheap and really get creative with it! I just feel like it is so much more personal when you make it yourself. Granted, last year we did buy our costumes because we threw a Halloween party and spent more time on the party planning. So I wanted to share the couples costumes we have done over the years! I hope you enjoy them!
