Torrid and I are in a relationship. Sometimes I will go months without making a purchase, other times I’ll make multiple purchases in a month. A lot of it ends up being based on their selection and if it fits into my personal style or not. Lately, I’ve been in love with a lot of their pieces.
I loved the pattern of this dress. The print is different from what I would normally gravitate towards, but I think it keeps a basic silhouette more interesting. The straps are adjustable, which I really appreciate. There is an elastic element in the back, but other than that the material is linen-like and does not stretch. I got this in a 3X during their Haute Cash sale.
The jean jacket is just…perfection. I can pair it with so many different things in my closet this Spring. Since it has short sleeves, it is great to wear in the warm weather. I tend to prefer a dark wash jean, so I’m pleased with the shade. This is in a 2X. I thought about sizing up because I don’t have a whole lot of extra room around the arms, but when I made my purchase, they only had a 2X left. It does stretch, so it’s not a big deal. I also bought this during their Haute Cash sale.
I purchased the sandals last summer in this nude shade and in black. I bought them both on sale and they’ve held up so well. I wear them all the time because they’re so comfortable for my wide foot. By far, my favorite sandals I own! Overall, this look is comfortable but very put together for the Spring weather!

A little over a month ago, I was lucky enough to win a swimsuit from Becca Etc along with two of my blogger friends, Kelsey (bakersfieldbeautyblogger) and Nicole (stylevicksen). Thank you to Becca Etc!
I was a little hesitant when they told me that it would be a surprise as to which swimsuit I would receive. Would it fit me well? Would it be my style? Would I absolutely hate it? These were all questions that went through my mind, but looking at their website did ease my fears a little since they have a lot of styleish options.
I was so excited when I received the box and looked at the swimsuit. I absolutely loved it! The dark blue color is one of my favorite hues, so much so that it was even one of my wedding colors. The lace is so delicate and gives this one piece an updated feel. There is just a hint of clevage, which makes you feel sexy without showing too much. It does have a tiny little ruffle of a skirt at the bottom but because of its modern construction, you don’t feel like you’re wearing a stereotypical swim dress.
This swimsuit is more of the expensive side, but I do encourage you to look around their site because there are some more budget-friendly items. I got this one in a size 3X. I do have to shimmy a tiny bit to get it over my hips but once it’s on, it’s extremely comfortable! Even though it holds in your tummy, it doesn’t feel restrictive at all. I could wear this for an entire day and not mind it one bit. The straps are adjustable, making it easy to wear whether you are a small or large chest.
Overall, this swimsuit is absolute perfection. For those of you that don’t like wearing colors, it also comes in black! I’m so thankful to Becca Etc for having their giveaway! I can’t wait to wear it this summer!
