I had the opportunity to collaborate with JCPenney and I was so excited! I picked some spring looks from the Boutique+ line to review for you. If you’ve never tried JCPenney for plus size clothing, you’re missing out on chic outfits for great prices!
The first look is a teal trapeze dress. I ordered this in a size 2X. The Boutique+ line does tend to run a little bit on the larger side and since this dress is meant to fit a little looser, I sized down. I love the color, it is perfect for spring. The 3/4 length sleeves are great for the slightly warmer weather. The dress comes right to my knee, so there’s no need to wear leggings with it, but you could if you wanted to. The material is light but sturdy. Right now it is on sale for $30. You could dress this look up or down with the right shoes and accessories, which makes it a great addition to your spring wardrobe!

The next look is floral and so cute! This black bodysuit has the same criss-cross detail as the trapeze dress, which has been on trend for a long while. The elbow-length sleeves make it very easy to wear for a plus size girl and the sleeves are roomy for larger arms. There is a snap closure at the bottom of the bodysuit. The pencil skirt has a hint of mesh near the knee, making a typical floral skirt a little more edgy. The fabric is light and soft while still having some structure. This is the perfect laid-back but chic spring look! It’s also extremely comfortable! The bodysuit is $20 and the skirt is $30.

The final look is probably my favorite. I paired this Lacey black bralette with this gorgeous blush embroidered bomber jacket. The bralette does not have any stretch, so if you are more of an apple shape or have a larger chest, I’d recommend sizing up. The straps are adjustable, which I appreciate since I don’t have a large chest. It is only $20 and is a good staple piece that everyone should have in their closet. The bomber jacket feels so luxurious. The color is beautiful and very on trend for spring, as well as the embroidery detail. I got this in a 2X as well because I wanted to wear it open. A 3X would fit my hips better but then the top would be too large. The jacket is on sale for $45, which is a little more on the pricier side but it is 100% worth it. I can see myself wearing this jacket with so many different things in my closet!

If you haven’t checked out JCPenney, you should definitely give it a shot. Also check out their size chart to make sure you’re getting the best fit for you. These pieces were sent to me but the opinions are my own and this is not a sponsored post. Overall, the Boutique+ line is on trend, made of durable fabrics, and fits Curvy women very well. I highly recommend this line!
JCPenney Unboxing and Try On
Loralette may just have your perfect pair of jeans. I know you’re reading that and saying to yourself, “whoa there, that’s a bold statement,” but in all honesty, it’s true.
Loralette wanted me to try another outfit of theirs since they were featuring me on their style profile for the month of April and I am so happy with my outfit choice! I really wanted to try their jeans because I know that as a plus size woman, it’s difficult to find a good pair of jeans since there’s so many different cuts and sizing isn’t always consistent. But these jeans are absolutely perfect.
They are cropped, which I love for the spring and summer weather. They do have a slit at both knees and a tiny bit of distressing near the hips. I’ve never loved slits or distressing on jeans but on these, they work and don’t look too deliberate. They do have a lot of stretch, so I may have actually been able to size down, which is always nice. These jeans fit more high-waisted, which I love. They are a size 24, which is my normal pants/jean size. These particular jeans are more of a medium wash. I typically wear darker wash jeans but I really do like the shade of these.
The shirt fits like a glove! Camo and patches are both totally on trend. I love the slightly rolled sleeve. It’s short sleeves, but not too short for my comfort. I got it in a size 3X. The shirt is stretchy and it accentuates my curves and without being restrictive. The fabric is so soft and comfortable. I’m definitely going to be wearing this a ton!
Definitely check out Loralette’s website, especially my picks in my style profile! They have such cute stuff and are always having sales! Thanks Loralette for this opportunity to collab!

I already announced this on my YouTube channel this morning, but I wanted to also put it on my blog for those of you that don’t follow me on YouTube.
- My Patreon Page has launched! What this means: Patreon is a website/app where you can follow and support creators of all kinds. In my case, I’m using it as support for my YouTube channel. Basically, you would make a donation of your own choosing and in return you would have access to anything I post on Patreon, which will most likely be some extra videos/pictures/behind the scenes footage. Obviously since I just started it, I’m sure what I post will evolve and I will try to do special things along the way for my supporters. If you have any ideas let me know! I didn’t want to do a tier system because I didn’t want anyone to feel pressured to give more than they could or feel like they weren’t as valuable of a follower. If you’re interested, check out the page here!
2. I am being featured for the month of April on Loralette’s website! If you haven’t heard of them before, they’re a sister brand of Avenue. Loralette has a more trendy and youthful feel than what I have seen from Avenue. I have a style profile on their site, where I hand-picked pieces from their collection that I love! They’re having some good sales too so definitely check them out!! See my style profile here!
I have some really exciting things coming up so make sure you stay tuned!!
I was browsing my Facebook feed when I came across a new plus size brand called Loralette. When I did some more research, I found out they are a sister brand of Avenue. I haven’t shopped much at Avenue, I went into one of their stores and tried on some clothes one time. I didn’t buy anything because none of it was quite my style. Loralette, on the other hand, is a much more updated trendy version of Avenue. They have a more boho carefree feel to their clothes. Their sizes run 1X-3X and it seems that they always have a sale going on!
I decided to try this denim dress for a few reasons. I know an all-denim look is very on trend right now, I’ve never owned a denim dress, and I liked the off the shoulder detail. This dress is a stretch denim. I ordered his in a 3X. So I would say their sizes run slightly smaller than a “true to size” brand. It still fit, but the hip area was a little snug. Overall though, the dress was well made and I liked the ease of the look.
I paired the dress with nude shiny sandals from Torrid and some rose gold accessories. I’m so glad I could introduce you all to a new brand on my blog and I hope you check out their site!
