Plaid has been a huge trend recently and I’m seeing it everywhere! Although I’m typically not a plaid kind of girl, I fell in love with these pants from Society+. The print is just gorgeous on them. The background is black and the plaid is a mix of purples and gray. The pants feature a stretchy elastic waistband to ensure a perfect fit for any body type. The fabric is so so comfortable and feels very luxe.
I paired the pant with this gorgeous magenta 3/4 length sleeve shirt, also from Society+. I’m so in love with this color! It just pops! I did experiment and tie the shirt up to get a better view of the pants, but it can also be worn at full length for more hip and booty coverage. It really looks great any way you wear it.
I paired this look with my classic black booties from the Shoe Department. I should mention that these pieces were purchased during their Valentine’s sale and winter clearance, so they were majorly discounted! I love Society+ clothing and when they have sales I literally lose my mind because I want to buy all the things!!!

I found this shirt at Forever 21 when I was filming some “inside the Dressing Room” videos at a local mall. Unfortunately, in store, they only had it in a 2X. Forever 21 tends to be more “junior plus size,” rather than true to size. Lucky for me, they had it available on their website in a 3X! Plus it was on sale for $12!
I love the material it is made out of! It’s so light and soft, so it will be great for the warmer winter days we have been having recently in PA. I like that it’s cropped so that I can layer a plan white tank underneath. I feel like the white around my hips really accentuates my curves!
I paired it with my jeans from Burlington Coat Factory and my boots from Target. This is the perfect casual comfy outfit!

I saw this shirt at JCPenney and I knew I had to buy it! I had seen this shirt around blogs and Instagram a few months ago, but when I found out it was on sale for $8, I knew it would be a perfect addition to my wardrobe. Curves really are trending! I feel like the Body positivity movement and general acceptance of curvy bodies is really growing. It’s so encouraging to see!
The shirt is from Ashley Nell Tipton’s Boutique+ line for JCPenney. This shirt is a 1X. Her line tends to run a little on the larger side, which is nice because that means more of a wide variety of women can wear these clothes! Since the line launched I believe some time in 2016, there are a lot of pieces on sale right now, which is perfect for my fellow budget-conscious fashionistas!
I paired the shirt with this black pant from Maurice’s. I got them in a size 4 because the size chart seemed to run a little on the smaller side. They have a leather strip detail down the front of the pant, making them have a little bit of an edge. Plus they were on sale for $10! I thought they looked great with my black booties and the jacket from GS Love. I was also able to wear my new bracelet from Wristacuffs and my new gold rings, both courtesy of Curvy Gurl subscription Box!
I did wear a white strappy bralette underneath from Curvy Sense. This bralette is so comfortable and was only $7! I like that it peeks out of the top in a few of the pictures, giving a tshirt a slightly more interesting detail! This outfit would be perfect for a night out when you want to be comfortable and still make a statement!

I’m going to make this post short and sweet. Everyone wants to look good and feel special on Valentine’s Day. Whether you’re single and celebrating with some friends or you’re in a committed relationship going to dinner, this is one day that you want to look good.
I chose to wear this beautiful red dress from Torrid. I’m so in love with the shape and color. This dress actually was a tiny bit large on me, but I got it on Clearance for about $10! So I couldn’t say no! It has a great flowy skirt and a high neckline. It is made of a pointe material, so it is a little thicker which makes it perfect in the cold weather!
I paired it with black tights, booties, a black shrug, and a pretty necklace from JCPenney. Overall, the look is fun but classic. I wore this to work and received so many compliments! No matter what you’re doing today, I hope that you have some fun!

If you have read my blog for any length of time, there are a few things you already know about me: I love to look chic, I enjoy being comfortable, and I cannot pass up a good deal on clothes!
This black sweater dress is perfect in so many ways. The 3/4 length sleeves are perfect for the cooler weather, the stripes and give the dress a little texture, and I only paid about $12 for it! Lane Bryant was having a sale: clearance items were buy one, get one for $5. This dress was an original $90! With the sale and gift card I had from my Birthday, it was such a steal! This is in a size 22/24 and it fits my pear shape so well. In fact, I also purchased this dress in red!
The leggings are not a recent purchase, but they were also a good deal. They are made of a soft buttery fabric, making them a dream to wear. I got them over the summer at Burlington Coat Factory for only $6!
There’s nothing wrong with pairing something more simple with a piece that’s more fun. That’s exactly what I did, wearing a fun Aztec print legging with a simple black sweater dress. The overall look is chic but whimsical at the same time.
